The Years To Remember

We were graced with three days of 60 -70°F weather earlier this week and it was wonderful. First crocus!  I’m not one to waste a moment of a beautiful spring day, especially after the frigid winter we just went through. After a morning soak in the hot tub listening to the birds, I got busy giving my car a thorough cleaning inside and out. I hosed off the floor mats which were caked with salt and road grime. I just hope they dry before the winter weather returns tomorrow. This little wooly bear was taking advantage of the sunshine too! I went snow shoeing with Sue Ellen and Patty on Monday in 60°F temps. One of the unpaved roads in Vermont on the way to the Ski Center.  On Sunday Sue Ellen dropped her car at my house and we drove 4 hours north to Craftsbury VT which is just shy of the Canadian border. While we had an enjoyable time, the dorm style rooms with shared bathrooms down the hall were not greatly appreciated. Neither was sharing a room, but we both wanted to go and sharing was the only option. We made fine room mates and didn't get in each others' way at all. Once we embraced the dorm life, we had a great time! By the time we arrived on Sunday, it was getting late so I just took a walk around the compound with Rich to see the Nordic Center, the gyms, and the beginning of the ski trails.  We then met the whole group in the common room for cocktails and I got to know a few more club members, including Rebecca from last week.
